John has been a principal solicitor since establishing his own firm, John Murray & Co., in 1987 following which he acquired the firm of Reid & Sweeney, Solicitors on the retirement of the late John Grant Sweeney in 1992. John advises clients in a wide-variety of legal areas affecting individuals and businesses. John has extensive experience in various types of transactions and legal issues, including in relation to residential & commercial conveyancing, licensing, criminal law and personal injuries.
Our History
Reid & Sweeney Solicitors was established in Ballyshannon in 1889 by Ralph Hall Reid. After over 170 years of serving the people of south Donegal, Leitrim and further afield, we continue to achieve results through hard work, a passion for excellence and a commitment to you, our clients.
